I am barista and I love espresso. 

I’ve been making espresso for 3 years now. And I have to admit that I was a bit afraid of the espresso machine when I first started, but as I got my training I got more confident, and my coffee making skills have bloomed. 

This website is my way of givving back to the espresso community, at the end of the day, we are a special kind of coffee lovers, aren't we?

If you think it’s difficult to make a perfect espresso, you probably are right. Some other brewing methods are more forgiving, but espresso is finicky. Get one variable wrong and your shot bitternes in person.

But let me guide you in the wonderful world of the espresso making and help you grow into a master barista. 

I work as a full time barista at Starbucks in Chicago, and as a part time barista in a small third wave coffee shop. The two jobs helped me grow my barista skills. All these are part of my plan to open one day a coffee shop of my own. Until then, step into my virtual barista academy, and learn to make espresso.
